Oren Bersagel-Briese is a 31-year member of the fire service, and is currently the Deputy Chief of Operations with the Castle Rock (Colorado) Fire and Rescue Department. He has extensive teaching experience, is one of the founders of the Denver 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb, works with FSRI on their Training Advisory Committee, and is a member of the NFFF 9/11 Stair Climb Steering Committee. Oren loves skiing, the Grateful Dead, DC punk music, truck company work, and Arsenal football. He also hates Comic Sans and sees double spacing after periods as archaic and completely unnecessary.
