Dr. Ben Stone, Chief Fire Officer (Ret.), is the CPC Coordinator for the Center for Public Safety Excellence, a professor and doctoral chair at Columbia Southern University, and an instructor at the National Fire Academy. He is a credentialed EFO, CFO, CTO, CEMSO, NRP, and MiFire-E with public safety experience dating back to 1997. Dr. Stone’s doctoral research focused on ethical decision-making in the fire service, and his work continues to center on ethics, leadership, and professional credentialing.
