Supervisory Special Agent Paul Claflin is employed by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and leads the ATF Arson & Explosives group in Denver, Colorado. Special Agent Claflin received his IAAI CFI certification in 2001 and ATF CFI certification in 2012. He previously served as chief, team leader and member of the ATF National Response Team from 2012 until 2021. Special Agent Claflin has a Master of Science degree from Oklahoma State University in Forensic Arson and Explosive Investigation, a Bachelor of Science degree from Western Oregon University in Fire Service Administration and is currently enrolled in the Executive Fire Officer program at the National Fire Academy.
