Oren Bersagel-Briese is a 32-year member of the fire service and is currently the Deputy Chief of Operations with the Castle Rock (Colorado) Fire and Rescue Department. He is one of the founders of the Denver 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb, is a member of the NFFF 9/11 Stair Climb Steering Committee, and serves on the UL-FSRI Training Advisory Committee. Oren loves skiing, the Grateful Dead, punk music, truck company work, and Arsenal football. He also hates Comic Sans and sees double spacing after periods as archaic and completely unnecessary.
