Following Governor Polis’s veto of Senate Bill 26-184, key stakeholders have gathered to chart a path forward regarding firefighter cancer benefits. This workshop briefly examines current coverage under the 2007 Presumptive Cancer law and the Colorado Firefighter Heart, Cancer, and Behavioral Health Benefits Trust, focusing on actionable ways to improve these programs. Join us to discuss ongoing efforts to enhance coverage and better support firefighters battling line-of-duty cancer.
