Ken Watkins serves as the Executive Director for the Colorado State Fire Chiefs - representing the leadership and members of fire agencies statewide.

Previously, Chief Watkins dedicated over 17 years as Fire Chief for the City of Grand Junction and 25 years with the Westminster Fire Department, advancing from Firefighter to Deputy Chief.

Throughout his distinguished career, Chief Watkins has participated in numerous statewide, regional, and local organizations. He is honored to have helped agencies create better organizations and safer communities.
